Hey all, This post is gonna be really a short one because It's about one more DIY.  We all love strawberries but fresh and juicy strawberries are available just during winters.  My daughter Jishu loves having strawberry shake and strawberry ice-lollies. But winter is not time to give these things to her and in summers Strawberries are not available.  So I decided to freeze strawberries. and after 2-3 failed attempts here I am with perfect idea to freeze strawberries that lasts really good for 8-10 months.  Things you need -  Fresh and Juicy strawberries ( quantity depends on how many you want to store. ) Plastic container Zip lock bags.  First of all wash all strawberries. Dry them with paper towel. cut off all green stems and  leaves off strawberries. Place them in open plastic container. put them in freezer. keep it open. don't cover it. Every time I write a blogpost for Blogadda I feel alive. This time Blogadda has brought wonderful activity for bloggers as well as kids in collaboration with Colgate. After registration and selection I informed my neighbor's children who are 5 and 8 years old about the activity as my own daughter is just one and half. Before I received the packs I already told them that I would be receiving packs of colgate with space adventures characters inside it. Both of them got highly excited when they came to know that they were supposed to write a story based on those characters. After arrival of our darling daughter Jisha in our life, we rarely got chance to travel and explore new places. Jisha is just 1 year old but due to bed rest I had been house-arrest from last 2 years. Modern world has made our life relaxed with many facilities, amenities and technologies. But has it given us true peace and happiness? If we look around carefully then we would find that actually these modern world and its flaws has made human being alone. Social media has connected us with whole world. City, state, country are no more barriers. But don’t you guys feel that actually it has widened the gaps between the families living together? Instead of discussing lives of others let me focus on mine as my own family also suffers from the same issue. As soon as all the members are gathered at evening, we have our dinner. Definition of happiness differs from person to person. For someone it might be there in enjoying four course meal at Taj palace and for someone it might be there in enjoying gol gappas at roadside stall. For someone it might be there in enjoying world tour and for someone it might be there in being together at home. For me happiness resides in small things. Here is my list for what I prefer for happiness. 1)       Staying at home during weekends: Normally it is said that wives love to shop and travel on weekends but for me happiest weekend is when it is spent with my dear hubby, at home. He is software engineer and spend five days at company so whenever weekends come he loves to spend them at home.
