City Times
Being avid reader and lover of poem,
this collection was like a bliss to me. Now a days I have been reading many so
called modern poets who claim their poetry to be modern but the very feature of
modern poetry, the feeling of emptiness, absurdity and symbolism or allusions
are never visible in any way in these poems. When I got this collection from my
friend for review, I was sceptical that what would be there in chest for me? As
soon as I started reading it, I found it worth of reading and adding to my list
of favourite works. I found the work to be worth of calling literature. With
throwing lights on the world around us, poet draws our attention towards the
ignored yet the most affecting sockets of life around us. The type of people we
deal around us and the way they or else city life affecting human and values.
Uses of images like Chameleon, Crabs and many more to mention.
This collection is worth reading.
Mentioning few poems as most affecting one would be kind of injustice to other
works in the collection.
My ratings for this work 4/5.
